Elimination of condensate on the surface of cold water pipes with liquid heat-insulation coating RE-THERM

The problem of corrosion on the surface of cold pipelines is no less acute than the problem of thermal insulation of hot surfaces. The main difficulty in the thermal insulation of condensing pipelines is to ensure a snug fit of the thermal insulation layer, as well as insulation of the insulation from the penetration of moisture through its layer to their surface. Even if both of these conditions are met perfectly, one small defect in the form of a microscopic gap in the insulation (cold bridge) will lead to the fact that ambient air will penetrate to the metal surface. Over time, condensate will begin to fall on the metal surface, which will gradually impregnate the thermal insulation layer, leading to deterioration in thermal insulation properties and corrosion of the metal.

Completely eliminate the problem of condensate and provide anti-corrosion treatment of the metal will help ultra-thin liquid thermal insulation RE-THERM. This composition, applied to the surface, forms a seamless, heat-insulating coating with an anti-corrosion effect. Since the coating is applied by painting, the probability of leaving gaps in the layer is practically reduced to zero, even if the work is carried out by inexperienced personnel. 100% adhesion ensures perfect adhesion of the thermal insulation to the surface. The presence of special additives in the composition allows the coating to be both thermal insulation and anti-corrosion coating. Ultra-thin thickness and method of application of liquid thermal insulation RE-THERM (painting) allow the coating to be indispensable when working in cramped conditions and on objects of complex geometric shapes.

All these advantages are clearly illustrated by the object: cold water pipes in the compressor room of residential building No. 17 on the street. Mate Zalki, Krasnoyarsk.
