Waterproofing of a trough roof using R-COMPOSIT polymer material in the Republic of Khakassia

Roofing made of reinforced concrete trough panels, which were used in the construction of buildings in the Soviet era, now requires additional maintenance. It is associated, first of all, with the gradual destruction of concrete and the need to ensure the required level of waterproofing. However, the use of roll materials on such roofs is problematic, as it creates additional vulnerabilities through which water can penetrate to the base.

To ensure the sealing of the junctions of the ventilation wells located on the roof, as well as to eliminate the leaks that appeared on the roof of a residential building in the village of Tuim, Republic of Khakassia, work on local repair of the roof was carried out using a highly elastic polymer coating R-COMPOSIT. This latex-acrylic-based composition not only has excellent adhesion to the concrete surface of the slabs, but also copes well with waterproofing functions. The continuous seamless film that forms on the roof surface after the composition has polymerized is impervious to moisture and is weather-resistant. In particular, and to UV radiation, which significantly reduces the service life of bitumen-based lubricants. In the case of using R-COMPOSIT, the service life of the waterproofing will be at least 15 years, which is an important advantage when choosing a material for roof repair.

Thus, R-COMPOSIT polymer waterproofing - simple and easy to apply - allows you to eliminate the leaks that have appeared and ensure the sealing of all vulnerable areas of tray roofs with minimal labor costs.
